What we are
Benjamin & Isaac Accountants is a trading name of Benjamin and Isaac Tax Consultants Ltd, registered in Scotland, company number SC743340. We work from 50 Darnley Street in Glasgow, and we are part of a wider group of advisers we work alongside.
We are supervised for anti-money-laundering purposes by HM Revenue and Customs. We are not a firm of solicitors and we do not provide legal services.
How we work
One fixed monthly fee, collected by monthly standing order, agreed before anything starts. No hourly rates, so you are never billed for a phone call or an email. No discounts and no bespoke pricing — every client on a package pays the same, which is how the price stays low and the service stays consistent.
Your books are handled month in, month out by people who know your trade, with a qualified accountant reviewing and signing off everything that matters.
Who we are for
Sole traders, small limited companies, landlords, tradespeople, hospitality and retail. The service is built for businesses with up to twelve employees.
Twelve is a firm limit, not a starting position. If your business grows beyond it we will tell you, and we will help you move to a firm equipped for it. We would rather do that than stretch a service that was not designed for you.
What we do, and what we do not
We handle monthly bookkeeping and bank reconciliation, VAT returns, payroll, year-end accounts and Corporation Tax, Confirmation Statements and deadline reminders, and Self Assessment. Employment contracts and right-to-work ID checks as well.
We do not provide complex tax planning, forensic accounting, audit, FCA-regulated services, cryptocurrency advice, group-structure work, immigration advice, or work for limited liability partnerships. Where you need any of those we introduce you to someone who does that work, and we liaise with them on the accounting side. We do not charge for the introduction and we do not take a fee for it.
Where we work
Glasgow, Edinburgh, Paisley, Coatbridge, Airdrie, Hamilton, Motherwell, Larkhall, East Kilbride — and beyond. The work is done remotely, so where you are in the Central Belt makes no difference to the service or the fee.
The wider group has offices in the United Kingdom, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.
